The Health Professions Council is a statutory regulator that works to protect the health and well-being of people using the services of health professionals. They only register Paramedics who meet their standards for their professional skills, behaviour and health.
Each Registered Paramedic is issued with a PA Number, by asking for an individual PA number you can check it's holders validity by accessing the HPCheck website at www.hpcheck.org select Paramedic from the drop down list and enter the number in the second box.
